About me

I'm a 24-year-old bookworm who constantly daydreams about The Beatles, being Morticia Addams and how fun it would be to live life as a pirate. 

I currently live in the south-east of England and not too long ago I earned my English Literature and Creative-Writing degree. When I'm not reading, writing or watching Tarantino films for the 800th time, I'm either being a duteous bookseller, browsing homeware shops or being (un)sociable with my friends with a few too many cocktails in cheap and cheerful pubs. 

My mum never fails to remind me that ever since I learned how to read I would always be found in the corner of a room with my nose in a book. Nothing's changed, really. Sometimes, there's nothing better than spending your time getting lost in the wisdom of words that offer comfort and adventure. In particular, the genres I love to read are: young adult, dystopian, nineteenth-century classics, historical fiction and Victorian non-fiction.
